I feel i am pathetic. I sold 3 of my cymbals on E-bay and am going to sell 3 more. All of them were/are Sabian HH series and 1 is even autographed by Mike Portnoy. I had sold them to by new CDs. Of course i will be left with 8 cymbals. I had quite a few to start with and didn't feel like i needed them all.
The CDs i bought were almost every CD Facedown records and Strike First Records had put out from mid '04 to present. The CDs i will buy soon are all new releases or preorder CDs that will be out this April and May.

Big shipment of goodies came in today! YESSSS! I ordered a lot of CDs from FACEDOWN Records. They had/have a ton of great deals & specials. Check them out here. FACEDOWN is the record label that carries the best Christian young HxC bands around. Here is where you can download MP3s and listen to these bands. Here is another great site to download and listen to these bands. Bands like JESUS WEPT, War of Ages, Bloody Sunday, & more, lots more. I will be giveing you my reviews on all of those CDs soon one @ a time.

One of the CDs I want to tell you about is DEMON HUNTER's The Triptych. I love Demon Hunter. I also read that they will be getting back to METAL on this CD a few months ago when they were in studio. Now, having said that one of my friend's G/F said she heard this CD and didn't think it was hard enough. You gotta love a girl that knows here HxC and loves it! She's great, & my friend is very blessed to be her boyfriend. Her oppinion was that it was a little slow and not near as heavy as was expected. I'll soon find out. & I hope she is wrong.
Another band is JESUS WEPT. This link takes you to Pure Volume to listen to a couple of their trx. Sick City is on their CDep. It's classic HxC. The other, Black Out, is from their next CD that will be released '06 early spring. This is a great, GREAT HxC band from the Erie area that has been around for years as xDisciplex AD, & they know what they are doing.

It's becoming harder and harder to make entries in this blog. more time has be set aside for work and family. also, keeping up with christian metal is becoming harder & harder. there are so many quality bands coming out of the wood work. it's insane! don't get me wrong. i love more bands. that means there are no downtimes due to lack of topics, bands and extra downloads and links. it is also fun finding new bands and listening to their freebies and demos.

This is my Band playing our kick-off gig in RUSSIA. That is me on DRUMS doing a sound check before we started. We played 11 gigs in 6 towns in 11 days. I want to go back. These people appreciate you and MUSIC.
